It's been a very busy week at Washington School . We kicked off "Read Across America Week" on Tuesday with the start of our Scholastic Book Fair. Students were able to preview books and make "wish lists". On Wednesday and Thursday, the students were invited back to the book fair for shopping days. Thursday evening, the PTA held "Parent Shopping" where students were able to come back to school with their parents/guardians to shop. Thursday we welcomed the first of two guest readers to our morning assembly.
