Planting in the Garden
On Wednesday, Ms. Catalano's grade one class went out to the Washington School Environmental Garden to create up-cycled planters. Scooterville
Washington School students enjoyed traveling the roads and byways of Scooterville. Scooterville is an annual tradition that is a"favorite" of our students. Part of the physical education curriculum, the activity teaches the students about pedestrian and vehicular safety. In addition, the students also have the opportunity to play scooter basketball, scooter volleyball, scooter bowling, and scooter soccer. The students also visit Nurse McShane's Scooterville Hospital to learn about effective hand washing.
