Rutherford High School students Wesley Schlimer, Ian Oliveira, Ian Ensuncho, Kia Parikh, and Sarah Iorio are the Bergen County New Jersey High School Consumer Bowl champions! The students will compete in the Northern Regional Competition in April. Foods Classes – Dessert Unit
During the last two weeks, our Foods classes have been concluding their dessert unit with pies and beginning their egg unit with homemade pudding pies. The students learned a new technique called tempering. This allows the eggs to be added to a hot liquid in a controlled environment to prevent them from scrambling. CPA Talks to RHS Accounting Classes
The New Jersey Society of CPAs (NJCPA) annually offers all NJ high schools the opportunity to participate in its Career Awareness Program (CAP). The purpose of the CAP program is to expose high school students to the accounting profession through career presentations. This year Rutherford HS was one of the 98 high schools that participated in the CAP program.
