RHS Seniors Reminded About Safe Driving
On Thursday May 30th, the day before the Senior Prom, the Seniors witnessed a deadly accident re-enactment to bring home the potential consequences of distracted driving. Nick's Towing provided two wrecked cars and set them up as if the accident had just happened. Student-actors from the senior class played the parts of victims and witnesses. The Rutherford Police Department, The Rutherford Fire Department, and The Rutherford First Aid Ambulance Corps all responded as if the incident was real. In June, Chromebooks will be collected from students in Grade 6, Grade 8, and Grade 12.
