Rutherford High School graduation ceremony
Due to predicted weather conditions beyond our control, tonight’s Rutherford High School graduation ceremony will be held in the Washington School gymnasium. The program will begin at 6:30 pm sharp. Only lavender or orange tickets will be honored. All attendees with lavender or orange tickets must enter the school through the triple doors (marked #6) through the playground area on Washington Avenue. Doors will open at 5:45 pm. Summer Chromebook Care
Rutherford Public School students in grades 7, 9, 10 and 11 have the great opportunity to utilize their district-issued Chromebook for learning during the summer months. Students are encouraged to use their devices over the summer to complete summer assignments and to pursue hobbies and other interests as long as those pursuits would be appropriate on a school-issued device. Class of 2019 (and their parents!): Congratulations on your leap into adulthood! When your last test is taken and your locker is cleared out, there’s one more bit of work you can tend to. It’s easy! If you are at least 17, you can register to vote. If you’ll be 18 by the next election, you can participate in that process just like other adults in the United States. RHS Band and Choir Earn ‘Superior’ Rating at Festival
On Friday, June 7th, the RHS Band and Choir travelled to Allentown, PA to participate in the High Note Music Festival. Their busses rolled out at 5:30am to make their morning performance and evaluation. Two adjudicators evaluated their performance and provided them with written and audio commentary along with a "Superior" rating. When the students return, the recorded audio comments will be played for students and serve as a clinic. As always, our music program continues to bring accolades back home to RHS!
