Here's what has been going on in our classrooms during the month of March and what is coming up in April! Mrs. Blanchard – RHS In Concert Choir the students have been preparing for the spring concert. We are working on a piece in Spanish, Yo Le Canto, a jazz arrangement of Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye, and Aerosmith’s hit Dream On. Here's what has been going on in our classrooms during the month of March and what we are planning for April! Mrs. Bowden – RHS APLAC: The students are finishing the Politics unit, a really interesting unit that spans political issues in our nation and across the globe. The students read many essays about past history, colonialism, and terrorism in the US and abroad. Disney’s High School Musical – A Rousing Success!
Congratulations to the cast, crew, and musicians for an amazing performance of Disney's High School Musical! RHS Journalism Students, the REF and BSSB! Perfect Together!
The RHS Journalism students, under the supervision of teacher Mrs. Nicole Bowden, have become published authors! In the Fall of 2016, members of the Rutherford Education Foundation proposed a partnership with students, Boiling Springs Savings Bank, and the REF. Students were charged with writing for a true purpose (and not just for the classroom!) Boiling Springs Savings Bank has been a strong supporter of the Rutherford Education Foundation and publishes frequent articles written by our RHS Journalism Students.
