The Rutherford Police Department has completed a traffic study and has put the following plan in place: To significantly improve pedestrian safety a “ROAD CLOSED” sign will be posted on Lincoln Avenue at Addison Avenue between 7:40 a.m. – 8:20 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. – 3:10 p.m. No vehicles shall travel south on Lincoln Avenue between Addison Avenue and East Pierrepont Avenue. Pierrepont School’s SILVER BELLS program, sponsored by the Service Club and PTA, will begin on November 18, 2019. The SILVER BELLS program provides needy families in our school and community with items such as warm clothing and special wish list gifts for the children. Diversity Wreath
Pierrepont School's fifth graders were asked to assist the Civil Rights Commission in creating the first student-produced holiday wreath for the commission's contribution to the Kip Center's Festival of Trees. The theme of "Diversity" was used as a discussion point in class lessons during the Week of Respect . Students researched the traditional costumes of their cultural heritage and decorated popsicle people.
