Wishing happy holidays and a healthy and prosperous new year to all of our Pierrepont families! With the cold weather upon us, we will utilize “Operation Umbrella” for morning drop off until further notice. Grade 4 will be report to the MPR, grades 5 to the hallways near their classrooms, and grade 6 will report to the gymnasium. We will continue to go outdoors at lunch time throughout the school year (weather permitting), it is important that students are dressed appropriately to be outdoors. Please note that Friday, December 20th is a one session day. All students will be dismissed at 12:20 p.m. Subscription busing will be provided to students who take the bus. The bus will leave Pierrepont School at 12:30 p.m. and arrive to Union School at approximately 12:40 p.m. JUST A REMINDER If you have recently discovered a jacket, sweatshirt, hat, lunch bag etc. missing, please have your child check the lost and found in the multi purpose room. 4th Annual Literacy Fair
This school year, Pierrepont School will be hosting its 4th Annual Literacy Fair. The goal is to get our Pierrepont Elementary students excited about reading and provide an opportunity to share one of their favorite books with the rest of the school in a creative way. The reading fair also gives students an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of the parts of a book and the components of a story.
