The Character Education Committee and School Safety Committee held a poster contest to culminate the lessons learned this year. Students were encouraged to create a poster that conveyed a message or trait learned. Students learned about: fairness, bravery, creativity, kindness, forgiveness, hope and zest. One student was honored per grade level. The PTA awarded each winner with a gift card to a bookstore. Bike Rodeo
Third grade students at Lincoln and Washington participated in a Bike Rodeo. The bike rodeo taught some students the skills necessary to learn how to ride a bike while other students learned road safety skills. Lincoln Hosts Its Annual Art Show
The Art Show at Lincoln School drew many visitors! Art work from first through third grade was displayed throughout the building. Ms. Clossey also created an Eye Spy hunt to challenge families as they explored the galleries. Students left with Kindness Rocks to leave around the community. Each rock was painted by students and then inscribed with an inspirational word. Kindness Rocks were created during the Great Kindness Challenge Week in January.
