A little bird fell out of tree and needed some time to recover. Thanks to some quick thinking parents and teachers, a plan was hatched to save the bird. Students visited the bird while it recovered. Respect
This month Lincoln School is focusing on the hard character trait- respect. Respect is a way of treating or thinking about something or someone. If you respect someone, you admire him/her and treat him/her well. We are emphasizing that students should be respectful of different cultures and traditions. We are also teaching students to respect “things,” as well as people. Back to School Night Tonight
Back to School Night is this evening at 7 pm. It's hard to believe the children have only been back five days! The gym and Pierrepont doors will be open for you to enter into the gym. Attached is the agenda Back to School Night program and room assignments for the evening. Character Traits
Each month students will be exposed to one character trait, which will be defined, modeled and its application analyzed in books, history, science and current events, and in students’ ability to apply the trait. This school year Lincoln is focusing on the hard character traits:respect, citizenship, wisdom, kindness, love, self-control and appreciation of beauty.
