This year we will be continuing our initiative to build our students’ vocabulary. This improves comprehension and writing. Each week, each grade level will have exposure to four words throughout the day. Specialists, homeroom teachers, custodians, lunch aides and office staff will infuse these words in daily conversations. We know children need to hear a word multiple times before he/she can understand the meaning in text and use the new word in writing and speaking. Some Back to School Reminders
Dear Parents and Guardians and Lincoln Students, Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! I am thrilled to start this year and see many return. Lincoln Remembers 9/11
On September 11th Lincoln students thanked all of the special people in our lives who keep us safe. Teachers discussed that RPD, RFD, parents, EMT, medical staff, military personnel and school personnel, just to name a few, are all available to help when needed.
