Meet Chris Viola!
Mr. Viola is a seasoned vet teaching science at Union Middle School for the past 20 years!! In addition to teaching 8th-grade science, Mr. Viola created and teaches the extremely popular Amusement Parks and Bridges elective. In this elective, students explore structures as they relate to amusement park rides and bridges. Our students explore the forces involved in physical science by researching, building, and measuring various amusement park rides (Ferris wheels, loops, and roller coasters). Meet Mr. Shaun Bach, Pierrepont School 5th grade teacher and Green Team advisor The Green Team from Pierrepont School is in full swing. After spending the first couple of months discussing the lifecycle of a plant and what they need to survive, they recently began caring for their own plants, which they started growing from seeds! Each student received two tiny planters with a couple of seeds and are growing them in their own homes.
