Parents may begin the registration process for new students entering school in September 2020 by completing our online registration. Dear School Community, I hope you are doing well, staying healthy, and staying together and strong as we continue to face the health emergency. School buildings will not reopen on March 30. The districts in Bergen County have been told to prepare and plan for distance learning to continue in two week intervals. Dear Rutherford Community, We have officially completed Distance Learning Day 3 and I am very proud of our students, parents, teachers and community for adjusting so quickly. Just last week we were educating 2,700 students within the four walls of our classrooms. In less than two days, we prepared, adapted, modified, and are now successfully educating all of those students at home. School Closure/Distance Learning
County Executive James Tedesco has ordered the closing of all county public schools beginning Monday, March 16 in response to the rising numbers of COVID-19 in Bergen County. This is not a decision we take lightly, as we know the inconvenience it will bring, but we have been gearing up for this possibility and are solidifying plans to continue educating our students.
