¥Thank you to all those parents who visited with us during American Education Week. It was a pleasure to have you with us.
¥Again this year, our Student Council food drive for Thanksgiving was a huge success because of the generosity of our Pierrepont families.
¥ Silver Bells, our school community program to raise funds to purchase holiday gifts for needy Rutherford families and seniors, is about to get underway. Students can donate extra change daily and checks can be made payable to the Pierrepont PTA. Please support those in our community who are less fortunate than we.
¥Parents are reminded of our student art exhibits that are on display in the main office and in my office throughout the school year. Mrs. Hecking rotates the exhibit of studentsÕ work each marking period. Please stop by to see the creations of our Òartists in residence.Ó
¥Everyone at Pierrepont wishes Mr. Albin and Mrs. Gillio well as they retire at the end of December. We thank them for their many years of service and dedication. Both Mr. Albin and Mrs. Gillio will be missed.
¥Our winter recess begins with a one session day for grades 4-8 on Tuesday, December 23. All students will be dismissed at 12:20 p.m. School will reopen on Monday, January 5.

PTA DECEMBER NEWS
The Silver Bells program will begin Dec.1st and will run until Dec.17th. Please help families in our community in need.
It is through the generosity of the Pierrepont School Families that we are able to provide items such as warm clothing, grocery gift certificates and special wish list gifts.
