Physical Education
Tom Potor
The physical education program includes a wide variety of activities for all age levels. Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades concentrate on basic instruction and involve the use of large muscles. Eye-hand and eye-foot coordination skills are stressed a great deal.
Grade 3 becomes involved with team games and
skills. Sports such as soccer, speedball, and basketball as well as
gymnastics, floor hockey, and physical fitness to name a few that are
played during the school year. Good sportsmanship is very important
to us all. Students in grade 3 receive an award each week throughout
the year for displaying good sportsmanship.
